My thanks to Michelle E.
Special thanks to lillstrumpa for the chart!
Blue Jeans Lace Leaf Shawl
I have heard that a lot of people have trouble with the yardage/counting of the leaves/repeats.
I have counted the 21 leaves UP THE OUTER EDGE OF THE SHAWL!!! NOT up the center!
If you insist on counting the leafs up the center: there should be 11 full leafs up the center of the shawl when done!
Starting your count with the very first one...
I hope this helps a bit with the confusion.
A few people had problems downloading it.
I am explaining here how it works :) Hope that helps, if not email me, I will send it to you directly, as soon as I get to it ( I check my emails daily!)
:)
This chart was made by lillstrumpa. Here is a link to her flickr page, where the original can be found (picture posted with her permission. click on it and you can see it big)
If you should still have a problem, please let me know and I will be more then happy to assist you.
If you made this shawl, let me know! I always love to see them!

Beautiful!! But - are Rows 3-5 missing from the Pattern or did I overlook something?
Hello!
They are there, when I look into edit the post! I have no idea what is going on!
I can see, when I look at the page the rows are gone, but when I try to edit it, they are there! I will try and upload it new, maybe that will help! (trying to get everything into PDF format anyway, makes it all much easier to print out... but sadly I have no clue how!)
Hope this fixes it for now!
Hugs!

This looks great! I want to make it for my mom. But what about rows 2, 4 and 6???
thanks!
Hello Siftingthroughthemadness!
Rows 2, 4 and 6 are definitely there! I know there was a problem a few days back, but I uploaded the pattern new and now all rows are there. I checked 3 times from 2 different computers and had a friend check it for me (I panic easily! LOL)
I don't know what to tell you....
Contact me on my email and I am happy to help out, if they just won't show up for you.
Hugs,
B.
Thanks for your response. I figured out what the problem was! For some reason, some of the instructions appeared in a much smaller font (practically invisible). I copy and pasted the instructions in word and made all font big enough so now I can read it! I will let you know how the shawl turns out!
i tried to download the pdf, but it is not pdf, it's loaded in an ipaper format & i couldn't save it as a pdf. Do you have it somewhere else?
I also cannot open it as a pdf, and I can't figure out how to print it as a Scribd doc. Any advise? Really looking forward to starting it! Thanks!
Hello swell gal!
I have a post here that tells you how.

Hi spinndiva - thanks for getting back to me so fast! I tried again, followed the instructions, and it is still not working for me. If you could send it to me, that would be awesome - whenever it's convenient for you, no rush! Thanks again!
Send me an email Hon! :)

I clicked over from someone doing this pattern, but what I really want to know is what is the pattern of the scarf/stole in your title bar!
Hello Kim!
I just left a comment on your blog, but I guess I write it here too.
The shawl in the picture is the apple green shawl I made for my friend Molly. It is my pattern, I made this pattern for a KAL in my German Knitting Group. I think if people here are interested, I will translate it, otherwise it will stay in German only.
The KAL does not start until July, and the pattern will not be available until it is over.
THank you so much for your interest!
Hugs,
B.
Just saw a finished Blue Jeans Lace Leaf Shawl on Intrepid Fiber Wizard's blog with your link. I'm unable to download the pattern - says it's reached the limit for free downloads. Is there anyway I can get a copy? It looks like a great beginner lace project and a great casual shawl.
Thanks for an awesome pattern! This is my first lace project that's gone anywhere and I am sooo excited for the finished product! (:
